Hey, Ross. I just wanted to remind you that we had a 3 or 4 or 5 year running arguement over Marty Schotteheimer. You kept praising Marty and I kept saying even Norv Turner could do better. sure, phillip played well. but his temperment will cause a meltdown in NE. VOlek played smart and solid to get us the lead. in the playoffs, go with the hot hand.

The Bobble Head Media can say what ever they want about our quarterback Philip Rivers, including that he is chemically imbalanced. All I know is that we are in the AFC Championship game. And in the words of Jim Valvano when asked if he thought his North Carolina St. team had a chance against the mighty Houston team in the 1983 NCAA Basketball Tournament Final he responded, “were the only other team in the game”. Spitz, I’ve been Rivers’ biggest critic as far as his erratic play early in the season as well as his more recent sideline antics, but to even suggest Volek as the starter if Rivers can so much as walk, is a meltdown in your brain. 8 wins in a row, including two playoff wins should be enough proof of that.

Ross, you can call me a homer, but Seau will always be one of my faves no matter what he does. What exactly has made you want to ignite your #55 jerseys?? Because he wanted to win a championship and Marty/AJ didn’t want him anymore? I still think the organization botched that whole thing up worse than anything Seau has done since.
I will be in Canton, God willing, when he is enshrined. I can’t imagine what it would have been like as a Charger fan in the 90’s without him.

I have literally heard everything from “the Patriots are so focused that they don’t need any extra bulletin board material” to “the Patriots will use bulletin board material to pile it on like they have all year.” One this is for sure, no matter what the Patriots do they are the media darlings, and no matter what we do we are hated. Who gives a crap about all of that? When did ESPN become TMZ? Why am I reading football articles that reference “sexy” and “Britney Spears” in them? The only thing that makes me feel better is that our team is being talked about. I don’t think this would be the upset of the century if we win, but the media sure does, so I hope we shut everyone the hell up!
